You don't need to bend over backwards to be appreciated. You don't realize it yet, but the number of times you'll miss hearing (from yourself!) that people don't necessarily give back what they receive, no matter how much they show they deserve it, just for survival. Everyone survives at different levels, and even then, it's not linear.
It's a damn spectrum.
Your position in this spectrum is what determines for you what is fair or not, to be debated civilly, because otherwise it's useless. It's crazy how much the world can change its mind depending on what surrounds them because we all affect each other. All the time. Positively. Negatively.
You've seen it with the number of employees you've observed. That you're still observing from afar. In different places. Choices that look unfair can be marked or shown as fair, from other angles. Sometimes it's days, sometimes it's months, sometimes it's their—
Life. You have to live. There are always ways to make time interesting. It's when you let the vignette of the image become too thick that you can lose your sight. Darkness is comfortable… until you realize it's not. Efforts are worth it. Victories are worth it. Mistakes too, because they just give you more chances to have the rest. To test the waters.
Test. It's not definitive. Nothing is definitive. Decide to take my place, please. I went crazy over the numbers and I'm still doing it, but asking you to take my place, that, I know is not a mistake. You're not a number, you're an origin. Origins are cool, because from there, you can create anything without a problem. You can add, remove, with control. When the number is too big, even with platforms that make you believe that if you have less, you lose control, it's when it multiplies too much that you lose control.
Control is quality. Like taking the time to write this to you while listening to Cartal, an artist you didn't discover via an algorithm but via a radio program. That was it. Having the choice. Only continue if you still like it. You have the choice, even within restrictions. Because looking outside of choices will make it harder for you.
The importance here is that you stay solid and that you often consider what is available, who is available even, around you. No need to go further, that would be ridiculous. Everyone is ridiculed at some point, but if you can laugh about it or ignore it, if you can adapt, without letting it lead you into wasted effort.
What can change, can change. What promises to change is out of control. What is kept, however, limits us. We can't always hold onto it, even when it's virtual data, like old logos you only used for a month for something you'll learn doesn't even exist anymore today. The people it really contributed to have kept it, and also, there are plenty of other things that can contribute, you don't need to plan for that.
Basically, take care of yourself, I won't be far, we'll keep moving forward.
